Meet Tom!

Member/Personal Training Client since 2015

Hobbies: Traveling, Hiking, Cycling and Kayaking
Accomplishments: Healed plantar faciitis and rotator cuff, improved posture

Tom joined the gym in January of 2015, taking advantage of the free Yoga classes we offer in the hopes of improving flexibility and core strength. In November of that year he decided it was time to add more strength training to his routine and scheduled a complimentary personal training consultation.

I learned a lot about Tom that day - about all of his outdoor activities and love for craft beer and his desire to find a healthy balance between the two. We started Tom with a 5 machine circuit hitting most major muscle groups with a core focus that Tom could perform in the gym on his own during the week.

With proper stretching, consistent rehabilitative shoulder work and a wide variety of core exercises Tom has healthy feet and shoulders and the stability to enjoy his hobbies with a reduced risk of injury and pain. Tom is just a few months shy of retirement and is looking forward to having more time to spend active and out doors. 3 1/
2 years later we still meet weekly and I always look forward to our time together.
