It's NEVER Too Late!
I met Cyndie right after New Year's Day, 2018. She had just retired and was highly motivated by the new freedom in her schedule to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Her only problem was not knowing how or where to start.

We scheduled a complimentary personal training consultation and got to know each other better. I learned that she had goals to improve her overall health, care for her joints (especially a painful knee) and increase her endurance so she can continue to enjoy hobbies of traveling and hiking.

Knowing that she had no previous training in proper movement of the body with exercise, we agreed to work together for 40 minutes every week ensure a safe and effective approach.

In the weeks that followed, her self-reliance grew and she began completing a minimum of 3 other workouts on her own each week. And boy has she been consistent! Each week when we work together we perfect a new exercise that she is confident in performing on her own, thus building her base of exercises and setting her up for long term success.

Using combinations of functional body weight work, weight lifting machines and biking, her cholesterol has improved by 30 points and her exercise reports indicate consistent increase in weight loads, meaning the lady is getting STRONGER!

In addition to strength training and cardio work, Cyndie participates in our weekly RESTORE Yoga class (FREE for Members) to ensure she is giving her body the respect it deserves with the opportunity to reset and stretch after a successful week of workouts.

Cyndie Testimonial:

"After retiring in January 2018, one of my first goals was to focus on getting into good physical shape to be able to travel to all the places I’d dreamed about and saved for over the years. I visited several gyms before choosing Foundation Fitness.  What I liked was the fact that I didn’t have to sign a contract and it also offered yoga and Pilates classes free to it’s members. I took advantage of the private lessons provided by the owner/trainer to achieve my fitness goals and avoid hurting myself.  Sarah was extremely patient and even made a point outside the lesson to correct any particular exercise if she noticed I was doing it incorrectly. As an added bonus at my annual physical, my cholesterol dropped 30 points, my blood pressure was 109/71 and I was down 10 lbs.  My doctor encouraged me to continue whatever exercise plan I was doing because the results were paying off big time.

Thank you Foundation Fitness for getting me ready for the next chapter of my life."
