Yoga Classes


The foundation of our Yoga practice is Hatha. Hatha Yoga is a physical form of Yoga that recognizes the importance of the mind/body connection needed to reach our ultimate goal of enhanced well-being. The key characteristic that distinguishes Hatha Yoga from other branches of Yoga is the use of postures or asanas to achieve physical conditioning. Hatha generally refers to basic yoga, yet hundreds of Hatha yoga styles exist today with varying approaches from gentle to more rigorous.

Beginner/Gentle Yoga

Our Beginner/Gentle Yoga Yoga is designed for adults of any age, including seniors and those with minor physical ailments, who prefer a slower paced or more relaxed practice. Students practice beginning yoga postures and work on the principles of body alignment and breath awareness. Instructors provide lots of modifications and use props generously to ensure that poses are accessible for students with extra tight hips, painful knees, or other minor limitations. Students of all levels are welcome, including those who are new to yoga.

Foundation Flow:

Twice weekly we offer our FOUNDATION Flow that introduces participants to foundational Yoga poses designed to help improve posture, core strength, flexibility and balance. General shoulder limitations keeping you from a standard yoga flow? No worries! We will comfortably explore our shoulder’s range of motion without supporting our body weight if that is appropriate for the participants. Our instructor is an experienced personal trainer who is fantastic at helping persons with any limitation find a way to navigate each pose and on the flip side provide options to progress poses for those who are ready.

Pilates Classes


Our Mat Pilates class is dividied into two 30 minute segments focused on strengthening the core, building muscle endurance and strength and improving spine health using only the weight of your own body. Led by a certified personal trainer, the class begins with a 30 minute introduction to Mat Pilates, perfect for the beginner or to be used as a warm-up for the intermediate level practiced during the second half of the hour. Persons of all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds are welcome – there is something for everyone here whether you come to one 30 minute segment or both.

Developed by Joseph H. Pilates, Pilates uses efficient movements that are designed to improve circulation, breathing, posture and body awareness while improving total body strength. Expect a variety of exercises each week with a focus on core strength building. Please bring a mat and your smile!

Small Group Personal Training


Each month, a group of 2-8 people commit to each other to participate in a 55 min total body strength and cardio circuit training session every week. This is an exceptional way to reach your fitness goals with the motivation and low cost of a class paired with the personal attention of a one-on-one training session. Prices vary (as does the level of personal attention) based on the number of participants committing to that session.

Foundation Flow:

This class is reminiscent of Power Yoga and consists of holding poses for longer periods of time, building heat and flexibility. You will practice foundation skills, proper alignment and balance. Great for beginners to advanced yogis alike as modifications are provided throughout class so each student can create the intensity of their own flow. All levels welcome.

Our classes are all offered free of charge when you’re a member of Foundation Fitness. Whether it be a yoga class taught by one of our personal trainers or a pilates class taught by one of our team members, you won’t regret the time spent. Our classes are laid back in nature, but still push your body to necessary heights to help you grow. Our classes are a great place to meet people and garner a tremendous sense of community. Our trainers and teachers are very friendly and our members are a joy to be around. Come join the fun!
